Dr. Krista Baertlein-Leberfing, DC received her undergraduate degree in behavioral science from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2001 where she obtained a doctor of chiropractic degree. During her final year at Palmer, Dr. Baertlein (pronounced "BART-line") received the President's Award for outstanding academic achievement, and was inducted into the Pi Tau Delta International Chiropractic Honorary Society.
Dr. Baertlein has been in practice since 2001, and began her own private practice at her current location in Kenosha in 2007. She takes an extremely detailed approach to treating her patients, using both Activator Methods and manual manipulation techniques, deep tissue work, as well as interferential and ultrasound. In 2012, she expanded her scope of practice by receiving training in Kinesiotaping. Her passion for bringing healing and restoration to her patients is seen in her attention to detail and her caring, compassionate nature.
